First and foremost - Guaranty Bank does not sell your non-public personal information to anyone. There are instances in which Guaranty Bank must share information to complete a transaction initiated by you. For instance, if you write a check or use your debit card, data from the transaction is shared so that the information can be entered into our computer system. Guaranty Bank does not disclose any non-public personal information about you to anyone except as permitted by law.

Guaranty Bank & Trust Company will not disclose any non-public personal information about you to anyone except as permitted by law. We do not share our former customer information any differently than we do our current customer information. 

Service Providers and Joint Marketing Ventures
We may disclose the following information with financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements, which includes:
1. Identification information such as your name, address, telephone number, social security number, assets and income.
2. Transactional information with us and our affiliates such as your account balance, payment history and parties to the transaction.
3. Information from consumer reporting agencies such as your creditworthiness and payment history. 
Although you don't have the discretion to pot out of this sharing agreement, Guaranty Bank & Trust Company will enter into a written agreement with the third party that will require the third party to maintain confidentiality of the information in the same manner as would our bank.

Guaranty Bank and Trust Company Information Security and Maintenance
At Guaranty Bank & Trust Company, protecting your privacy is important to us. We have internal data and security policies and procedures in place to protect the non-public personal information we collect and maintain about you and your accounts with us to ensure the information maintained is accurate. We limit access to non-public personal information to those employees who have a business reason for knowing the information. We also maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state regulations to protect your non-public personal information. 

National Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies (Credit Bureaus) 
Credit reporting agencies may sell or share your name and certain information with various outside companies for marketing purposes. They will share your information as needed for credit verification and fraud control purposes. How is your Online Privacy Protected? Visitors to the Guaranty Bank website remain anonymous. Personal identifying information about the site users is not collected unless the user chooses to share it with us. 

We use software to track non-identifying information that does not include your IP address, but does include the following:

When Using Guaranty Bank Online - When you use Guaranty Bank Online, our Internet banking software including bill payer, we, along with the outside company we work with to bring yout hese services, have access to your personal account information. This information is retained in our system and, to a lesser extent, on the system of the outside company, to make your online banking experience secure and to protect your personal information. We require that you use an ID and password each time you access your accounts with us via the Internet. You help to maintain your account security by not sharing your ID and password with others, by changing your password regularly and by logging off at the end of each session. Information will not be shared outside the bank unless we are legally compelled to do so. You can identify secure website by looking at the address line of your web browser. If the http:// as an "s" like this: https://, then it is a secure site.

Protecting Children's Privacy - Guaranty Bank does not collection personally-identifiable information from adults or children. If Guaranty Bank knowingly receives an e-mail from a child under the age of 13, we will attempt to contact the parent to obtain parental consent and provide parental notice, or send the child an e-mail explaining the need for parental consent. It is the intention of Guaranty Bank to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
