Agency Accounts

In an agency account, the trust department, as agent of your financial affairs, becomes the custodian of your assets, your investment manager, and your financial manager. An agency account allows you to allocate responsibility for your finances to us and have peace of mind that your assets are professionally managed and your financial obligations are met in a timely fashion.

The Guaranty Bank Trust Department, as agent, provides the following services for an agency account:

  • Investment of assets pursuant to investment objectives and income needs
  • Payment of bills and obligations
  • Disbursement of funds to the account owner as needed
  • Delivery of quarterly (or more frequent) reports to the account owner
  • Delivery of tax information for the preparation of personal income tax returns
